As we might well have expected — given this morning’s announcements (but perhaps not quite this rapidly) — the legacy Textura corporate entity (i.e., pre-Oracle acquisition) has definitively settled with the plaintiff (I believe reliably depicted at right), in the pregnancy discrimination suit, that was pending until last night, in the federal District courthouse, in Chicago. As ever, the financial terms of the settlement are likely to remain forever confidential, but that is usually what an order like the below means, in my experieinced opinion — a confidential financial settlement:
“…Plaintiff, Krenare Thaci, and Defendant, Textura Corporation, by and through their respective undersigned attorneys in this regard, and pursuant to Rule 41(a)(1)(A)(ii) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, stipulate to the dismissal with prejudice of each of Plaintiff’s claims….”
Order Dated: April 27, 2016
Now you know. [we had first mentioned settlement talks, early this month.] Keep it spinning in good karma, people. Kudos to Ms. Thaci.
